Live: Journey to the 'last tear of the Atlantic' – Sayram Lake in Xinjiang

Sayram Lake is located in northern Tianshan Mountains in Bortala Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The lake has an altitude of 2,071 meters, a length of 30 kilometers from east to west, and a width of 25 kilometers from north to south. Sayram Lake covers an area of 453 square kilometers and contains 21 billion cubic meters of water. As the last place to feel the warm air current of the Atlantic Ocean, the lake is nicknamed the "last tear of the Atlantic."
