Tanhualin is an ancient street in central China's Wuhan City. It houses many historical buildings over 100 years old. It teems with boutiques, street art, coffee shops and tea shops. When COVID-19 hit the city in the beginning of 2020, leading to a city-wide lockdown, Tanhualin was also closed. CGTN reporter Xia Ruixue is at Tanhualin with community staff. She tells us how the street was like during the outbreak and shows how the locals are celebrating the National Day and the Mid-Autumn Day.
