Korla pear is one of China's most popular fruits, a native product of Korla City in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. The sweet gift from nature has earned Korla the title of "Pear City." The pear is harvested in September. During the National Day holiday, a group of local creative chefs in the city concocted a feast of Korla pears for CGTN's crew.
