Trump receives antiviral drug Remdesivir; campaign manager tests positive

U.S. President Donald Trump has begun Remdesivir therapy at Walter Reed hospital, the White House revealed in a statement released late Friday evening, claiming that it was recommended by his physicians.

In other details, the White House said that Trump did not require supplemental oxygen as of late Friday.

White House physician Sean Conley said earlier in the day that the president was given an experimental antibody injection developed by Regeneron. He is also taking zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and aspirin.

Trump's campaign manager Bill Stephen also tested positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
