Many museums in China are providing more immersive exhibitions through Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. Newly-introduced AR glasses are adding more life into exhibitions on the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City. As visitors wear the special pair of glasses, detailed information of each relic and other supporting messages is displayed. Meanwhile, the AR glasses are equipped with audio commentary, allowing visitors to learn along the tour. Sanxingdui Museum has also opened an online exhibition hall where visitors can view the exhibits through VR.
