Egypt's tourism and antiquities minister, Khaled al-Anany, said on Saturday that archaeologists had unearthed at least 59 sealed sarcophagi with mummies well preserved inside a vast necropolis south of Cairo. He claimed they had been buried more than 2,500 years ago.
