Russia's new COVID-19 cases top 10,000 for first time since mid-May

Russia on Sunday reported 10,499 new cases of coronavirus, topping 10,000 for the first time since May 15, according to local health authorities.

Russia's coronavirus crisis center said 107 more COVID-19 deaths had been confirmed in the last 24 hours, taking the national death toll to 21,358.
