Li Haifeng, Li Xiujin and Li Wangfu are three generations of a family that have chosen the same occupation: train maintenance. From clumsy tools to high-technology, train inspecting methods have changed hugely. Li Wangfu, in his 80s, still remembers the first day he came to Xining, the city where the trains on the Qinghai-Tibet Railway blew their first whistle. Guarding every train on the plateau, they have witnessed the development of the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The railway, they say, is their family's glory and dream.
