China is highly concerned with Kyrgyzstan's current situation and hopes all parties involved can resolve existing problems through dialogue and consultation, Hua Chunying, a spokesperson for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said on Wednesday.

Hua said that the Chinese side always respects the development path chosen by the Kyrgyz people according to their domestic situation.

She added that China firmly supports the Kyrgyz side's policies and measures for safeguarding the country's independence, sovereignty and security while against any foreign interference in Kyrgyzstan's domestic affairs.

China hopes that Kyrgyzstan can return to peace and stability soon and realize its economic and social development, the Chinese spokesperson said.
