About 1.1 million tested negative in E China's Qingdao after new COVID-19 cases
East China's Qingdao City in Shandong Province has collected over three million samples for coronavirus testing across the city as of Tuesday morning, the local health authority said.
So far, about 1.1 million of the collected samples have been tested and no new positive samples have been found, except the confirmed and the asymptomatic cases already reported.
Qingdao reported six new local cases and six asymptomatic cases over the weekend, prompting it to launch a city-wide nucleic acid testing scheme to contain the further spread of the virus.
