Nagorno-Karabakh conflict devastates localities

A Russian attempt to broker a cease-fire to end hostilities over the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh has failed to get any traction, with Azerbaijan and Armenia trading blame for new attacks.

Since the cease-fire went into effect on Saturday, Armenia and Azerbaijan have exchanged recriminations, seriously violating the agreement that was meant to quell fighting over the disputed region.
