Qingdao tests more than 2 mln people for COVID-19, all negative

Qingdao has collected 5,603,804 samples for COVID-19 nucleic acid tests as of Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., and more than 2 million of them have produced negative results, including samples from medical staffs, inpatients and escorts, according to local health authorities.

The city identified 532 close contacts of confirmed cases. All of them have tested negative and have been quarantined under observation and completed two rounds of nucleic acid tests. All of the 859 normal contacts have completed nucleic acid tests with negative results.
