China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Thursday said it had agreed in principle to set up a travel bubble with Singapore that may exempt residents of both places from quarantining or stay-at-home notices amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This will be one of the first such corridors to open up in Asia since the coronavirus outbreak.
"This milestone arrangement will help revive cross-border air travel between the two aviation hubs in a safe and progressive way," the HKSAR government said in a statement.
