A self-driving taxi service is now available to the public in Beijing. Passengers can enjoy robot taxi rides for free without a reservation in Haidian District in northwestern Beijing and Yizhuang Development Area in southeastern Beijing. Currently, the service can accommodate up to two adults aged between 18 to 60.  The self-driving cars will be driven under human supervision to ensure driving safety.
