Finnish PM leaves EU summit to self-isolate

Finnish Prime Minister Sanna Marin checked out of an EU summit in Brussels on Friday as a precautionary measure after discovering she had been in contact with someone who had tested positive for COVID-19.

She was flying back home to undergo a coronavirus test.

The move came a day after European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen left the summit venue in Brussels shortly after the meeting began because one of her close staffers had tested positive for the coronavirus.
