Santai County in southwest China's Sichuan Province has introduced poverty alleviation workshops to help residents shake off poverty by securing jobs. CGTN's Yang Xinmeng visited a shoe factory in the county's Jingfu Town, an example of this effort, to know how the factory contributes to poverty relief efforts by ensuring local people an income near their homes, especially during the COVID-19 epidemic period.
