Iran's death toll has risen by 253 to 30,123, the health ministry said on Saturday, as the number of confirmed cases spiked to 526,490 as 4,103 new cases had been identified in the past 24 hours.

Russia confirmed 14,922 new cases and 279 deaths on Saturday, following Friday's record daily rise for the nation, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 1,384,235 and the total death toll is 24,002.

Indonesia's total number of confirmed cases rose by 4,301 within one day to 357,762, with the death toll adding by 84 to 12,431. Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 974 new cases, West Java 500, West Sumatra 450, Central Java 416, and Riau 256.

India's tally reached 7,432,680 and death toll 112,998 on Saturday, as 62,212 new cases and 837 deaths were reported over the past 24 hours across the country. Till Friday, a total of 93,254,017 COVID-19 tests had been conducted, out of which 999,090 tests were conducted on Friday alone.

Columbia reported 8,372 new cases, with 159 more deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 945,354 with 28,616 deaths. The government has extended the selective quarantine phase until the end of October to prevent the virus' spread.
