Qingdao Chest Hospital completes 5 rounds of nucleic acid tests, no new cases emerge

Thirteen infected patients remain hospitalized in the latest COVID-19 cluster in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province.

Two patients are in critical condition, one is in serious condition, and one former critical patient is now in moderate condition, local authorities said.

Inappropriate disinfection in the CT room at the Qingdao Chest Hospital led to the new cluster of COVID-19 infections in the city, according to the provincial health commission of Shandong.

As of Sunday, Qingdao Chest Hospital has completed five rounds of nucleic acid tests and no new cases of COVID-19 have emerged.
