East China's Shandong reports one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case

Yantai City in east China's Shandong Province reported one new asymptomatic COVID-19 case on Sunday, local health authorities said Monday.

The patient has reportedly been isolated and is under medical observation.

No new suspected or confirmed cases were registered on Sunday, as Shandong's total number of confirmed cases was maintained at 776, with seven related deaths to date. 

Shandong's Qingdao City reported a local COVID-19 cluster of infections last week where 13 confirmed cases were detected. The city has completed its planned citywide nucleic acid testing with nearly 11 million samples collected.
