Over 2,000 professional runners from across China gathered in the country's northwestern Gansu Province for a marathon on Sunday, joining nearly 3,000 local residents and outdoor sports fans to contend for the first place of a race. The race in Linze County was part of the Health China Marathon series which was first jointly launched in 2017 by the Chinese Athletics Association (CAA), people.com.cn and Amazing China Sports Management Co., Ltd.
