China suspends Ethiopian flights after passengers positive COVID-19 test results

China's civil aviation regulator announced on Tuesday a five-week suspension, starting from October 26, of Ethiopian Airlines' Addis Ababa-Shanghai flights.

The moves follows the positive COVID-19 diagnosis of several travelers on recent inbound flights.

Five passengers tested positive on Ethiopian Airlines' ET684 flight on October 6, while 10 other positive cases were detected on the same flight on October 13, according to Shanghai Municipal People's Government.
