A high-yield demonstration field in Qitai County of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region has again smashed the national corn harvest record. It produced over 24,948.75 kilograms of high-quality corn per hectare, according to agricultural experts and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

So far, more than 160 experimental demonstration bases have been established nationwide, producing nearly $2.99 billion in economic benefits.
