Hong Kong reports 8 new COVID-19 cases, total tally at 5,269

Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) reported eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, pushing Hong Kong's tally to 5,269.

Seven of the newly-reported cases were imported and the remaining one was epidemiologically linked with a local case, the CHP said.

According to Hong Kong's Hospital Authority, 124 patients are still being treated in hospitals, including 13 in critical condition.
