U.S. spacecraft touches surface of asteroid Bennu for rare sampling

A NASA spacecraft descended to the asteroid Bennu on Tuesday, touching its surface to collect a handful of cosmic rubble for return to Earth. It was the first time for the U.S. to score asteroid samples, only after Japan.
