Polls out of the first week voting showed 49 percent voting for Biden, giving him a three percentage point lead over Trump. The margin is within the poll's credibility interval. Analysts say the swing state's 15 electoral votes might decide whether Trump could realize his re-election hopes. Both campaigns are spending heavily in the state. Global Watch speaks to political commentator Calvin Dark. He says Trump's poor leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic will hurt him with most voters in North Carolina.
