China will promote mutually beneficial cooperation, especially in jointly combating the COVID-19 pandemic and post-pandemic cooperation with Morocco and Bangladesh, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said.

Wang spoke on the phone on Thursday with Bangladeshi Foreign Minister A. K. Abdul Momen regarding bilateral cooperation and the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Bangladesh and China have worked jointly to support each other in the fight against COVID-19, Wang said, adding that his country is ready to provide assistance within its capacity to the South Asian nation on vaccine acquisition in the fight against the epidemic.

Momen said that China-Bangladesh bilateral relations have developed and deepened over the past 45 years since the establishment of their diplomatic relations, and Bangladesh is willing to strengthen cooperation with China.

In addition, Wang said that the groundless accusations made by the United States against China are typical unilateral bullying and those kind of attacks can be regarded as attacks against all the developing countries.

An attack on China is an attack on developing countries, Wang said, calling for all the developing countries to unite and jointly defend their legitimate interests.

During a phone call the same day with his Moroccan counterpart Nasser Bourita, the Chinese foreign minister said that the U.S.'s smearing of China is the most despicable act in contemporary international politics, which fully exposes the U.S. unilateral bullying and self-serving nature.

Morocco has always supported and will continue to support China in safeguarding its national sovereignty and territorial integrity, and firmly opposes any interference in China's internal affairs by external forces, Bourita said.

Bourita said that Morocco sincerely appreciates China's strong support to Morocco's fight against the epidemic, and speaks highly of China's dispatch of medical experts to the country.

Morocco looks forward to further strengthening cooperation with China in the fight against COVID-19, Bourita said.
