Regardless of what the future holds, China should continue to remain fearless in the face of brute force, said Chinese President Xi Jinping on Friday. Xi, also secretary general of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, was speaking at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing at an event commemorating the 70th anniversary of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea (1950-53). In his speech, Xi stressed that the success of the Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) army had won peace and also respect for their bravery.
