Wuxiang County in north China's Shanxi Province had a bumper harvest of millet this October. The province's hilly landscape makes machine harvesting difficult, so manual laborers with sickles must get to work. The natural conditions in the county make it the perfect place to grow cereal crops. Its millet planting area has expanded to over 6,600 hectares, producing nearly 20,000 tons of the crop.
