Hong Kong reports two new confirmed COVID-19 cases
China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) on Wednesday reported two new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the region to 5,310, Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection (CHP) said.
The CHP has called on all residents to avoid non-essential travel outside the HKSAR.
The Department of Health said it will conduct an assessment trial on RT-LAMP rapid nucleic acid test at the Hong Kong International Airport starting Wednesday.
The two-week trial aims to assess the sensitivity and reliability of RT-LAMP technology.
