Iran's parliament speaker tests positive for COVID-19 

Iran's Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has tested positive for COVID-19, he confirmed on his official Twitter account on Wednesday.

He said he is currently under quarantine and will continuously pursue his duties and responsibilities.

Iran has reported 6,968 news cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, bringing its nationwide cases tally to 581,824, according to local health authorities.
