The Final Assembly Line Asia in Tianjin Municipality completed assembling and delivering the 500th A-320 family aircraft. The A-320neo airplane was delivered to China Southern Airlines, a leading airline carrier in the country.

Tianjin's final assembly line is the joint venture between Airbus and the Aviation Industry of China back in 2008, and it delivered its first A-320 aircraft in 2009. It is the third location of Airbus's A-320 family production facilities and first outside Europe. The company plans a new A-350 delivery center in Tianjin next year.
