White House communications director Alyssa Farah said Wednesday that declared "ending the COVID-19 pandemic" as a key administration achievement in Tuesday's press release was "poorly worded."

"No absolutely not, I think that was poorly worded," said Farah when asked whether President Trump believes the pandemic has ended during an interview with Fox News. She explained that the press release intended to say that ending the virus is the goal.

In an interview with CNN, she admitted that the U.S. is still amid the pandemic, but that by the end of the year, the Administration expects to have a vaccine to defeat the virus.

Again, she said the press release aimed to give credit to the career medical professionals and scientists who have been working since day one on the pandemic.

In the face of the rising cases and hospitalization concerns, Farah said, "we are ready to deal with cases as they arise. We will not have hospitals overflowing."

She added that military doctors could even be mobilized to help fight the virus.
