Japan lowers travel advisories for China other 8 other countries and region

Japan has lowered travel advisories issued to China, South Korea, and seven other countries and a region on Friday, as the pace of new coronavirus infections is slowing, according to Kyodo News Agency quoting Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi.

Australia, Singapore, Thailand, China's Taiwan region, New Zealand, Brunei, and Vietnam are the other locations on the list.

Japan previously issued a Level 3 alert for those countries and region, "warning citizens against all travel," the report said, noting that the new travel alert - Level 2 on its scale of four - requests citizens to avoid nonessential trips.
