The furry and feathery residents of London Zoo are getting into the Halloween spirit as they celebrated the spookiest day of the year.

Keepers carved creepy creations for Asim, the Sumatran tiger, filling a traditional pumpkin with meaty snacks and even adding tiger stripes to match the cat's coat.

They might not be everyone's idea of a treat but raw chicken wings are definitely Asim's favorite, said zookeeper Lucy Reed.

Elsewhere, the Zoo's Asian short-clawed otters, meerkats and others enjoyed Halloween treats too, foraging for their favorite foods in creepy carvings.
