Coronavirus detected on imported pork packaging in east China's Shandong

Health authorities in east China's Shandong Province detected on Saturday traces of coronavirus on the outer packaging of frozen pork imported from Brazil.

The local government has urged residents of Wendeng District in Weihai City who may have come into contact with the product to report to authorities and observe their health status.

Officials in Yantai City have traced 1,475 imported products and tested 3,097 samples collected from close contacts and the environment, with no positive cases detected.
