CIIE offers free shuttle bus service for visitors

Shuttle buses directly linking Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station to the National Convention and Exhibition Center in Shanghai, where the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) will be held, has started trial operation on Saturday.

All visitors heading to the expo can take the shuttle buses for free.

At the six exits of the high-speed railway station, visitors can enjoy the shuttle bus services. The total journey is around 1.5 kilometers, and it only takes six minutes to arrive at the venue.

To ensure the passengers' health and safety, strict epidemic prevention and control and disinfection measures will be applied to the service.

Passengers will be required to sit separately on the bus, and epidemic prevention and control supplies such as face masks and ethanol will be prepared on the vehicle as well.

The number of shuttle buses has increased from three to six this year. Passengers can either book their seats online or just get on the shuttle bus at the station.

Nine service points will be installed along the journey, offering help to visitors on route guidance, CIIE consultation service, temperature measuring, disinfection, and emergency medical service.
