As ties between China and the United States get increasingly strained while the world is fighting against a pandemic and economic downfall, it is imperative to look beyond the East-West divide. This world is like a forest where trees take nutrition from shared roots. The growth of only a single tree will not benefit anyone. After all, a single tree doesn't make a forest.
