France to reimpose evening curfew in Paris

France will reimpose an evening curfew in Paris, and possibly the greater Paris Ile-de-France region, to fight the surge of COVID-19 cases, government spokesman Gabriel Attal said on Tuesday.

The country reported 52,518 coronavirus infections in 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 1,466,433, according to data released on Monday.
