More than 100 million Americans already voted, over two-thirds of 2016's total

Over 100 million ballots were already submitted, through in-person early voting and by mail on Tuesday, more than two-thirds of the number of votes cast in the 2016 election, according to CNN.  

With many states offering one remaining day of early in-person voting and allowing for mailed ballots to be received on Election Day or several days after, the final early vote tally will be even higher.
