Xinjiang's Kashgar Prefecture reports two new COVID-19 cases

Kashgar Prefecture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reported two new COVID-19 cases from midnight on Monday until 8:30 p.m. BJT on Tuesday, local health authorities told the media.

Meanwhile, a total of 116 new asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported on the same day.

Kashgar Prefecture will launch the fourth round of free nucleic acid testing in the region on Wednesday, local health authorities said.
