At least four people died, including a possible suspect, after a shooting in the Nevada city of Henderson, local media reported citing authorities on Tuesday.

Someone at an apartment complex called police around 11 a.m., saying they heard gunshots and saw someone with a possible gunshot wound in a doorway, Henderson police Caption Jason Kuzik said.

Police arrived, saw two people with gunshot wounds, and also "a possible suspect in a parked car that was nearby," Kuzik said, adding that officers "attempted contact" with that person, and that ended with officers fatally shooting that person.

The incident still is under investigation, Kuzik added.
