On Tuesday, the new Chengdu Tianfu International Airport completed its first test flight. The test is a crucial step for the scheduled launch of the airport in the first half of next year. The ongoing test will last for about one month. It mainly focuses on calibrating communication procedures, navigation systems, surveillance equipment, as well as runway signals.
