Vote counting underway in key states, Biden holds the lead

Votes are still being counted in several key states across the U.S., and no winner has been determined in the election. The race is boiling down to just a handful of states: Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Joe Biden is currently 32 votes short of the 270 needed to win the election and Donald Trump needs to find 57.

In battleground state of Wisconsin, with 89 percent of the votes tallied so far, Trump has 49 percent and Biden has 49.3 percent of the votes.

Nevada's six votes are likely to go to the Democrat, and the president is a narrow favorite for North Carolina's 15, Maine's second district's one and Alaska's three.

That leaves Biden on 244 and Trump on 232, with Wisconsin (10), Michigan (16), Pennsylvania (20) and Georgia (16) in the balance with votes still to be counted: If Biden wins at least two of the four states he'll win the election, if Trump wins three he'll be reelected.
