Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam is in Beijing to discuss plans to help revive the city's coronavirus-battered economy. She has met with the commerce minister and other officials. On Friday, Lam is expected to visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province which borders Hong Kong.
