U.S. reports over 100,000 daily COVID-19 cases, setting new record

The United States reported more than 100,000 new coronavirus cases on Wednesday, according to data tracked by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The United States has recorded 9,472,548 confirmed COVID-19 cases and over 233,000 deaths as of 7:24 p.m. local time (2324 GMT), according to the CSSE.
