Beijing reports overseas COVID-19 case where patient got infected twice
Beijing's health commission on Thursday reported a confirmed COVID-19 case from overseas in which the patient contracts the virus for the second time.
The 31-year-old Chinese female, who works in Sweden, first tested positive for the novel coronavirus on October 14 at a local hospital after showing symptoms.
She gradually recovered after taking medicine and tested negative twice afterward – on October 21 and 30.
According to the Beijing health commission, she landed in Beijing on Tuesday via Denmark and tested positive for the virus again on Wednesday.
