Apollo Intense Emozione (IE), one of the most lightweight hypercar in the world, was showcased at the third China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai. /CGTN

With an overall weight of just 1,250 kilograms, the monocoque body of the Apollo IE is entirely made of carbon fiber, along with its front and rear subframes. /CGTN

With such strong and lightweight materials, the car can sprint to 100 kilometers per hour in just 2.7 seconds. /CGTN

Designed and created by German automobile manufacturer Apollo Automobil GmbH, the car is priced at about $2.67 million. Only ten will be produced, all of which have been reportedly sold. /CGTN
