Pennsylvania's results slow as officials count some ballots by hand: report

Counting procedures in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania have slowed as some ballots could not be scanned by machines, CNN reported on Thursday.

With more than 100,000 mail-in ballots still uncounted in the state, officials are counting by hand instead.

The report said that "as of about 7:45 p.m. ET (1245GMT), there were still about 74,000 uncounted votes from Philadelphia County, 36,000 from Allegheny County and just under 25,000 from Bucks County."
