At the request of Gambia's government, China dispatches an anti-coronavirus squad to the West African country to assist its fight against COVID-19 on November 8. The anti-epidemic medical mission is scheduled to last for three months. Another team of medical experts is also leaving for Gambia on a year-long mission to aid efforts aimed at upgrading the overall health care system of the country. A departure ceremony is being held in Shenyang City, northeast China's Liaoning Province.
