The European Union will wait for Joe Biden to take office before commenting on future cooperation with Washington, the 27-nation bloc's executive commission said on Monday.
"I think we should take things one step at a time," spokesman Eric Mamer told a news briefing.
"It is still very, very early days and therefore at the moment," Eric said, adding that the question of who is U.S. president has no bearing on the trade talks between the European Union and Britain.
